You cannot write an appeal to truth and ignore the implications underlying the fuzzy nature of the thing you are appealing to, not honestly, anyway. Does your dishonesty, the assumption that your colloquial usage of truth needs no qualification, constitute falsehood? Are you being untruthful, or exploiting that idea to intellectual coerce others, but with an honest belief in your unexamined claims?

All strife comes from competing truths. Rising above that juvenile habit would do wonders for civilizing humanity.
